As part of the World Day Against the Death Penalty 2026 programme, Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights will officially launch the KL Guidelines.

The KL Guidelines were developed through collaboration among lawyers and civil society organisations across Asia to strengthen effective legal representation and fair trial rights in capital cases. Join us for this launch event with regional practitioners and those with lived experience, followed by a panel discussion exploring meaningful family involvement in death penalty defence.
